DREAMERS are specialized entities, created for the sole purpose of sleeping. Created via genetic editing, DREAMERS are born with the capacity to see the world through the eyes of others while in a REM cycle. As such, DREAMERS are kept in an artificial coma from birth, ensuring that they are not connected to their host body. This allows the DREAMERS to observe a number of people at once, as both the conscious and subconscious are involved in the dreaming process. Implants are slowly added over the course of development, to allow information recording in the form of DREAM-RECORDS.

The discovery of inter-planar gravitational travel has allowed Humanity to reach even greater heights. Currently, Ring 3 operates out of the 24th Plane, allowing access to all other instances of reality through near-horizon information jumping. DREAMERS are capable of observing entities in multiple planes, allowing for recordings in different timestreams. There is a tremendous amount of misinformation regarding the DREAMERS, including misleading claims that the DREAMERS are human. It is crucial to understand that the DREAMERS are not human, despite their origins from our evolutionary history. Their genetics have been altered so dramatically that they are no longer considered human. Therefore, DREAMERS do not fall within the boundaries of the Species Rights Act, as they are not officially listed as a protected entity, and do not posses the same genetics or rights as humans.
